I get to hear a lot of new songs as a music journalist, often they are forgettable, but not ‘Chasing the Rainbow’, after just a minute in it was clear I was listening to something a bit special.
There is just something so original about his voice and the song takes you on a musical journey on the high seas of emotion. I can’t wait to hear the album.
Wick said of the song: “When I wrote the song, I knew immediately I needed a female vocalist to validate this story.
“These stories are always told from a female perspective – Adele, Leona Lewis etc.
“But I didn’t want just any singer I needed the ‘Soul Girl’ my old friend from Coventry and Soul II Soul’s lead singer Charlotte Kelly.
“Chasing the Rainbow was released on December 7, 2021, and is available to download at Spotify and all major streaming platforms.”
Collaborations with Renowned Artists: She is also working with Adar Avisa and Grammy award-winning Yaron Gershovsky, among other notable artists. "Charlotte in Blue" is the recently completed album with Adar and is now available for download on all major music platforms.
